Thank you all. Will try new coax cable and no amp on Monday. Radio Shack antenna specs: HDTV/VHF/UHF for channels 7-69. 31 elements, 85 " boom, W x H x Turning radius: 43.5 x 23.5 x 48", impedance 300 ohms.
