Jointennas certainly work when properly spec'ced and installed. However, they have been discontinued by ChannelMaster for at least two years and are getting much harder to find as distributors deplete their stock.
When a Jointenna is ordered, the seller has to tune it before it goes out the door. Therefore, a seller has to have the correct test equipment (tracking generator/spectrum analyzer, for example) to adjust the device.
TinLee does make top-notch stuff, but it certainly isn't inexpensive.
