If Google does not have an accurate geo-coding(
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geocoding) of your street address, you end up with its guess.
If its lookup of your home address is not accurate enough, you can click on their "Report map problem" link and submit a correction so future searches for your address will be correct.
