I've learned a lot from your post and reading other threads on this forum.
I went ahead and picked up the Antenna's Direct C4V and ordered the RCA TVPRAMP1R. I'm not sure if the C4V is appreciably better than the C2V but it was in stock.
If it does not work out I'll step up to the HD7697P and deal with the association.
