Driving myself nuts!!!

I have been driving myself nuts trying to read on which antenna would be a good fit for my location. I have spent over 8 hours reading and am not any closer...

I am sick of only getting a few channels with my RadioShack bunny ears and the ones I do get chopping out on a regular basis. I am on a tight budget and don't want to spend a fortune. However, if I need the more costly equipment I guess I will have to break down and buy it!

I am currently using something similar to this:

I get in 32 very well and 7 fairly well. I am very spotty on channel 11 and 5. I have never gotten in channel 2I used to get chanel 9 ok but don't anymore since I switched to this ( I tried this from costco) :

I live in a 1 story house with asphalt shingles and vinyl siding. I would prefer to mount an antenna in my attic but am not dead set on this. There are a number of large trees in the area but I may be able to get a fairly clear shot towards the 159 degree location through my attic

I plan on mounting about a 20 ft run of wire to the primary television and would like to run a ~100ft cable to another television in the basement

If running the extra cable is going to bump up the price significantly I can pass on this for now . But the ability to run this in the future might be nice.

Here is my tvfool log:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
