I do not see a digital station using 40.1 Virtual on your report, so I assume you are referring to WBGT-CA 40 real, an analog low power station affiliated with the 'MyNetworkTV' network.

If you are connecting more than one set, you will likely find a rotator a source of conflict when trying to view stations from different directions. I would use the larger Winegard HD7698 aimed to the SE and a two-way splitter (no amplifier). Use the analog signal from WBGT-CA to fine tune your aim, adjust for least snow and ghosting, the stronger digital stations should be well above the minimum level needed.
