Hello Again

Because winter has set in in upstate NY and I do not have the $$ to pay someone to go up on my roof to install the antenna's that were recommended I am in need of a Temporary Solution.
I have an upstairs window that faces a northerly direction, as suggested in previous post. I am currently using a cheap rca antenna I got at walmart,
RCA ANT702F Indoor/Outdoor Amplified Antenna.
Do you think this would work out ok for a temp solution or is there a inexpensive antenna that you think would work out better. I do not want to spend a lot as I will be purchasing the antenna's recommended to me in the previous post in the spring. I just want to get through the rest of the winter.
