The Best practice for Reliable Reception is to install antenna/s at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions in direction/s of reception.
The closer obstructions are in the direction/s of reception the more disrupted reception will be.
The further obstructions are away from the antenna/s in the direction/s of reception the better reception will be.
