If you put the splitter between the amp and its power supply, you deprived the amp of its power and turned it into a brick. At least, as a brick, we know what to expect from it.

That isn't a choice since the amp will amplify the interference also.

You have a number of very local signals. Most amps will overload and cause loss of received signal.

Are you able to identify which of those local translators are being received? Are you receiving any of the direct signals from OK City?
