John and I may not agree 100% of the time... In this case though, you are describing the need for a large, high performance antenna.
I appreciate and respect John's opinion here, and in other posts.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
