Mounting question. I've been looking at my attic, and based on the compass direction, it might be tricky, so I got up on my roof to take a look at options up there. First, there's this pole, which would likely allow me to get it up a bit higher:
However, looking in the correct compass direction from there, points it only slightly to the right of the trees in my front yard:
It might miss, in which case, does that seem like a reasonable mounting solution? Would the metal likely interfere with reception at all?
The other option then, would be some method of presumably attaching it directly to the roof:
From there it'd be a straight shot past my trees, and not into the neighbor's trees across the street. Is there anything I need to know about mounting it directly to my roof? I've seen some of the eave mounts, but that's not really an option, as I don't have eaves.
