The system I've described is large and needs as much height as possible. A mast or tower that can safely support the equipment at that elevation is no place to skimp on quality.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
