American Canyon, CA - Antenna Recommendation

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...e1c6b008d7b433

We recently dropped our cable package, except for the very basic, non-HD that is free with our internet (which we aren't dropping). However, I'm hoping for HD for football/World Series.

We're in a house that was built in the mid-50s with a typical for the time stucco/cement/heavy plaster type construction, so the walls are fairly dense. The TV is in the back room, opposite the 200 degree set of stations (San Francisco).

We previously tried an indoor Winegard FL5000, which gave us a reasonably clear CBS, and fuzzy FOX and PBS, if I remember correctly. I'm probably looking at something external, and could either figure out a way to mount it on the roof just above the TV, or there's a 30 foot old ham radio antenna (I think) that's right next to our house that I could conceivably mount something on higher up, if necessary, though that'd also necessitate another 30-40 feet of cable to the TV.

The goal is to get CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC, PBS & ION. Anything else would be extra.

After looking at reviews, I'd been considering something like theWinegard HD7694P, but am not sure if that's a good choice for my situation. Any advice would be appreciated.

edit: I'd also be open to an attic option if feasible, as mounting would be easier, though it'd likely add another 10' of cable.
