thank you both for your responses; im still doing research on this.. i had read after i posted that the cm4228 had the vhf capabilities... been reading so much im getting confused.
I hate to ask another question.. but i keep wondering about those stations at 180 degrees in the opposite direction.. they are weak and many have one edge at least... are these even worth trying to get... like i said before the south side of my house has a clear view where i can see for over 20 miles because i live on a top of a ridge... i dont know.. may not be worth pursuing the stations to the far south... would probably need to add a seperate antenna to get those; but not worth it if there just to far.
