The difference in UHF performance between the CM4228 and DB8E is slight, with the DB8E having just a bit more gain. The CM-4228 has some incidental H-VHF capability, so it's reasonable to give it a try by itself. If you don't get reliable reception of the signals on real CH=-8 & CH-10, the Y5713 can be added later.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
