Some of the signals from 8 degrees are going to be difficult given the co-channel and adjacent-channel interference that's present. Still, I would try.

Consider a two antenna system. An Antennas Direct DB8E facing 8°. If the strong locals are not reliably received, try adjusting one of the antenna panels toward the NE... Not all the way necessarily, but in 5 degree steps.

The second antenna would be an Antennacraft Y5713 pointed at 338°.

Use a UHF/VHF combiner such as the Antennas Direct, http://www.antennasdirect.com/store/...Combiners.html to join the two antennas efficiently.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
