I've not seen any major network affiliate expressing regret for their UHF assignment. I can't say the same for the few who chose a Low-VHF channel or were forced to accept one.

Regardless, the choice is not complex in this case. bart, if you want to get every possible signal then a large all channel antenna is indicated, and we've listed several valid options.

If your choice is to use a slightly smaller antenna and forgo one infomercial channel, then you have several good suggestions to look at.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
