If you opt for an antenna that omits support for real CH-2 through CH-6, you get less wind load and a bit slimmer profile. You also give up any reasonable chance at receiving KHFW-LD, real CH-4, an Hispanic religious station that is not currently on the air (per rabbitears.info) or KSFW-LD, real CH-2, an infomercial broadcaster.
If you want to go this route, the Antennacraft HBU-44, HBU-55 or Winegard HD7698P come to mind.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
