I'd suggest skipping the 3036. It has the unneeded low-VHF elements (there's nothing of interest on low-V in DFW) which makes it huge and it is of rather light-weight construction.

A larger high-VHF/UHF combo aimed at Cedar Hill should work well. Add a medium gain pre-amp if cabling exceeds 100' or if you will be using two or more sets.
