The DB8E and CS4 will not give you much if any coverage of real channels 7 through 13, and they'll be quite directional, possibly to the point of leaving you with less reception of available UHF signals.

(The DB8E can be adjusted to broaden the forward beam though. If you opt for this route, you could add a H-VHF antenna such as the Antennacraft Y5713. A UHF/VHF combiner would be needed.)

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
