Hi all,
Here's my current setup and TV Fool Report. Used Tigerbangs' deep fringe recipe before I discovered the old 4228 was now the 4228HD...
TV fool report:
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...81a3ad31559f57
CM 4228HD (with original harness removed and 2 balun/combiner hack)
CM 7777 Preamp
RG6 Quad cable
CM 9521a rotator
Antenna on tower 30' above ground
"Virtual" channels (plus sub-channels) now receiving with consistent watchable signal:
2.1, 5.1, 7.1, 8.1(PBS), 11.1, 14.1, 17.1(Peachtree), 18.1, 34.1, 36.1, 46.1, 63.1, 69.1
57.1 is weak with careful aim and good weather. I have also picked up a few weaker Atlanta stations by lowering the antenna...(maybe reflection from structures?)
We have hills and a distant mountain to the N-NW. TV fool report suggests Chattanooga should be easy, but I've got nothing. Atlanta seems to be a cinch despite TV fool report.
Question: Should I quit while I'm ahead and be happy with my results? or does the 91XG really have the extra reach that will make a difference?
Thanks to those in the know...
