Going to try the distribution amp first - really don't like heights.... If that doesn't clear it up will try to fine tune the direction.
Cable is in good shape, it's all original and built into the house with the exception of the one leading to the set upstairs with the best reception. That's (mostly) indoors as well, only outside long enough to gain access to the attic.
