SD converter box output will be on ch 3 or 4 plus A/V outputs (red, white, yellow). A/V cables are cheap and usually come with converter boxes, DVD players, VCRs, and other such items. You may have one stashed away in a drawer or box somewhere.
OTOH, if you have HD inputs (HDMI, component, or possibly DVI) on the Panny, you can get an HD converter that will extend the TV set's service life. Bare bones HD boxes, some even with recording capability (with an external drive) have popped up recently and some are quite inexpensive.
Oh, it's the TV, alright...
