Mounting antenna in tree

Here's my tvfool report http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...46ae9a32160855

My setup is a antennas direct db8 with an amp 200' from house about 20' on my garage. Right now my antenna is facing the woods. My question is if I should try to mount the antenna directly to a tree and get it way up there. It would be right next to the house so it would be a much shorter coax run but it will still be facing into some trees. Or should I build a mast on garage where it's located now but get it about 10' higher. If I mounted it on the tree Would I lose anything my blocking the back of the antenna. Right now I'm picking up a few channels in the opposite direction it's facing. Thanks
