My recommendation of the FM trap is targeted to your VHF reception issues of ch 8. You have at least one FM station that is 25-30 dB stronger than 8 into which its 2nd harmonic falls. Potential is high that it may be the issue and the FM trap is cheap and easy to try.
Also, make certain the front of the Y-5-7-13 is physically aimed towards La Jolla.
