Wow thanks everyone for your good advice and concerns. Tom I believe the installer in Thornton is the one I tried to contact. He says that an installation is not worth it for him to come up this far north. I should be OK If I go up there I will be cautious. I am going to look some more for an installer maybe a dish installer. I want to be sure that the antenna is properly grounded also which is big part of my hesitation. I am not sure how to install the arrestor.
I didn't mean to throw up such a red flag. Thanks again all for your concern and advice. I can do this I just won't like it
