A diplexer can be called a frequency-selective splitter/combiner.

If you have no low-VHF stations, then the HLSJ is a very logical choice.

FM radio signals are adjacent to VHF channel 6. Unless you have an all-channel antenna, your FM reception might not be good enough. However, most FM stations run tons of transmitter power and inefficient antennas are the norm as long as the incoming signal is strong enough at the antenna.
