There's not much risk of overloading a preamp. However, the conditions are improved enough that I would make the effort to mount at 25', you get 'cleaner', more reliable signal.

The HD7694P and PA-18 are still a very good option.

Chasing after the signals in the 206° azimuth would call for a larger antenna, or antennas. One could use a rotator, though in multiple TV homes aim point becomes a point of contention. If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
