Though I'm not fully understanding why you can't avoid crossing the gutter, if you must, it will work fine. If the coax rubs through in 15 or 25 years, so be it. I would skip the complex pipe solution.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
