Dished the dish, cut the cable. I've never had an antenna, but I'm ready to make a purchase. Amazon.com has plenty with high marks, but I need a little more direction. Here's some info form the house I just purchased.

1. The house is a story and a half (cape cod) with aluminum siding.
2. Location is 50 miles West of Detroit
3. There seems to be an amplifier in the basement w/power
4. Cable runs from the basement-->outside, up the downspout and back not the attic.
Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
