I don't think the wind will be that much of a problem out here. Just as long as you use a good tripod on the roof or some sort of antenna mast firmly anchored.

The biggest problem that I have is with ice on the lower VHF elements. It starts collecting on them and eventually if you get enough, it is enough to weigh them down and bend them up a bit. Last time that happened I just straightened them back out and it is still up there. Doesn't look the prettiest, but it still works.. I still get Channel 6 (CBS) and Channel 8 (PBS) .. which are the 2 hardest for me since 6 is Northeast and 8 is Northwest of me here.
