The 7084 gives you gain and directivity. Both factors help provide reliable reception by maximizing received signal power and rejection of interfering reflected path signals (multipath). Going to a low gain antenna with little or no directivity puts you at risk of being the victim of multipath and low signal strength...
If you want 'every possible signal' you need more, not less antennas.
