If you're not blocked by trees or neighboring buildings, an RCA ANT-751R would do quite well. Start with it pointed at about 345° per a compass.
I would try running with no amplifier. Use a passive 4-way splitter (the cable company likely has already installed one, so once the cable has been completely disconnected, the cables and splitter in or on your home would be yours to re-use. If you have trouble with signal levels, a Channel Master CM-3410 distribution amplifier can be added.
