You're on the right track. The HD7695P would be a very good option. You can't know how much effect the roof construction will have until you try the antenna in the attic. The Winegard antennas are known for being difficult to re-fold, so if the access to your attic is tight, consider opening the elements short of their locked position until you know the antenna will be staying in the attic.

Try this with no distribution amp, one TV, a single coax and no splitter for this first test connection. After scanning for channels and tuning the aim, make note of which channels are reliable, and if you have a signal quality meter built in tho the TV, note the readings for each real channel. Then add the splitter and other TVs... if you loose reliable reception you then know a distribution amplifier such as the Channel Master CM-3410 would be a justified expense.

Just to be sure... keep the cable internet signal totally separate from your over-the-air antenna system. Even if you have canceled all other cable services, connecting the cable internet signal into your OTA coax system may result in interference to services such as police, fire and aviation.
