Great news!!! I have become more of a distribution amp advocate after years of thinking pre-amps were the end all. 50-75 feet of coax before amplification is not a deal breaker in most cases.
It's also nice to have the amp inside where it can be easily bypassed during power failures so a laptop or portable TV can be used to watch newscasts during emergencies.
