I have a Winegard HD8200U antenna on my roof in La Mesa, CA pointed toward Los Angeles stations at compass reading 316 degrees. I am using a Winegard pre-amp AP 8700, as I have a couple of splitters in my cabling system. This is my analysis chart:

I am receiving channels 43 (2.1), 31 (5.1), 39 (52.1), 24 (63.1) and a couple of others periodically. They are all from the location 116 miles from me. I also receive channels 8 (8.1) and 10 (10.1) which are local stations here in the San Diego area. I am using an ePVision PHD-VRX receiver which has two tuners. The HD8200U is connected to the first tuner and I use another antenna for the southern stations that is connected to the second tuner.
My question would be why I cannot receive other channels from Los Angeles that seem to have a better signal? Any help would be appreciated.
