Thanks for the response. I guess I didn't do the best research when picking the 4221HD.

For the Buffalo stations, It seems that you are suggesting that I point the antenna where I am supposed to, neglecting the fact that there are buildings in line. I guess this is still the best orientation and I'm far enough away that I'm hoping for a reduced effect (?).

I hadn't really thought about getting two antennas so this might end up being a job for the spring. I'm going to have to look at the total height of the mast since I would want 3' between them. I might have to settle for US-only at the end of the day.

One thing I noticed about switching from cable to antenna is that the channel rescanning takes a while. If I add another antenna then wouldn't I need to run the rescan every time I switch antennas?

Perhaps a lengthy rescan is just unique to my crappy tv.
