Antenna help in Western NJ

I'm cutting the cord and turns out the last homeowner left a big old antenna in the attic. I have not idea what kind but it looks like the 91XG on this page but a older looking type:

There is no preamp, etc.

I've pointed it towards NYC and I am picking up about 10 or so channels. But not all the major networks. I'm only getting WABC, WPIX, WOR. THe ABC signal is super strong (90+) while everything else seems around 40-50%. I really want the NY affiliates for NBC, CBS, and FOX. I'm also about the same 40-50 mile range to Philly, but I would prefer all NY stations.

Should I consider a preamp? Would I be better off with an outdoor Clearstream C2 mounted on my chimney?
