There are multiple ways to address this location using quality antennas.

Select a two antenna system for reception of the SD majors from Chula Vista.

Aim a high-VHF antenna towards La Jolla for channels 8 & 10. Aim a UHF antenna towards Mt Miguel to your north-east for the rest of the San Diego major stations. No rotor required but there may be several omissions in the number of stations received vs. those possible.

Because the CW affilitate broadcasts from Tijuana, the UHF antenna may need to be rotated to the south for better reception of it. There is a low-power VHF station that also operates from Mt Miguel on VHF 9 which will effectively drown out channel 9 from LA.

Reception of the LA stations is hard to predict due to strong adjacent and co-channel operations. I wouldn't plan on their being reliable would except that some of them will come in some of the time, especially during periods of temperature inversions.
