So the problem was the TV set to the cable setting, changing it to Air channels and then auto scanning for channels got me about 12 channels, of which just one, CBS has a real good signal. I guess now its a matter of just positioning the antenna to get better reception, but for now I'll leave it alone so mum can watch her fav 60 mins show tonight.
Would having an out door antenna be a better choice? It seems such a waste having a great TV (the pic quality is just awsome) with such limited coverage.
