The main difference between Bow and yagi is the beamwidth. That is the distance in degrees to the left and right from the center of the lobe.
The yagi is narrow the bow or Bay antenna is broad in the two and four bay, then the 8 bay is high in gain and also narrow in beamwidth. The difference in gain depends on the number of elements on the yagi and the number of wiskers ( elements) on the bay. So to answer your question it's a toss up.
