Given the trees, I'm inclined to suggest you plan on taking advantage of the chimney mount option.
How many TV's are you planning to connect? Depending on the answer to this question you have several options regarding choice of antenna and related accessories.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
