If you already own and operate an HDHomeRun you have the option to avoid the use of a rotator. http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=820

For the price of a rotator, you can add a second HDHR. The larger Winegard aimed NNW would feed one tuner. An ANT-751 aimed SSW would drive a second HDHR... WMC can support four tuners. So you have a great deal of flexibility to build a powerful OTA HTPC system using multiple antennas (if you choose).

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
