Just to post an update on this, today I bought two new coaxial cables to hook up the antenna to the amp and then the power supply to the TV, just in case the ones we had were not working. That didn't do anything (in fact, the one remaining channel we had got extremely pixelated and unwatchable when we tried using the new cable hooked up to the antenna vs. the older one. So, we unhooked everything from the preamp and just hooked the antenna back up to the cable that goes to the TV. So now the antenna is hooked up to the television directly again and we have absolutely NO channels. Please keep in mind that two days ago, before we tried to hook up the preamp, we had 13, and then the problems started. I've tried scanning and rescanning and it will find absolutely no channels any longer; all channels that were previously in the memory have been erased and the antenna won't pull them in any more. Does anyone have any thoughts on what this could be from? I'm at my wit's end here. Could my new antenna have gone bad in the space of two days?
