New house, new problems

I love my new house but hate its radiant barrier. I had a homemade Bowtie attic place antenna that gave me all the stations I wanted before, but I can't use it anymore due to the radiant barrier. My Reception report link is below.

I bought a little outdoor Bowtie antenna from RadioShack this week and temporarily mounted it on a ten foot pole just to try it out. I only care about the UHF stations but am missing three stations I really want - PBS, ABC, and NBC.

Will roof mounting at about 20 feet resolve this issue? Do I need an amp? Is there a good thread regarding rooftop mounting?
