I am looking for antenna. I consider myself a pretty tech person with computers, HTPC setups; however this is my first time looking at OTA reception. I’m just not sure about the distance, NM(dB), angle stuff and dont really care to dive into it if i don't have to. I have no existing antenna or amp. I will be running this through HDHomerun (

I have the links below for 15 feet and 30 feet. I live in a single family home roof is about 15 feet, but I don’t think the 15 will work for me so if I have to install at 30 feet I can. The main channels I am trying to get are your basic ones: PBS, ABC, CW, CBS, FOX, and NBC for the wife, as I use Hulu, ESPN3, roku and etc. for my stuff. It seems to be that most of these are directionally southwest. So would I just need a High Gain directional UHF/VHF antenna? Would I need an amp has well? Not really sure also if I would need a rotor either?
