Would attic placement work? Amp recommendation?
Hello Electron,
Thanks for your antenna recommendation! OK, is this antenna likely to work in the attic? We have a wood structure, I believe that there is only plywood and shingles, and the house is sided with vinyl.
Also, if the antenna is in the attic, the total length of wiring would be 80' plus a single splitter, if mounted outside (8 dB loss), the total length would be 125' plus a splitter (10 dB loss). I presume that an amp is required. Recommendation?
