Tv antennas and Tv reception
Yes I am looking at the NM. The target figure for NM positive 10 or more for reliable reception it gives a little elbow room. The FCC figure is 0 NM(dBm). Some reception situations have been reported with NM down to minus 15 NM how ever that is very low and reliable reception will likely not happen. As an example lets say that the antenna gain is 10 dB , that would move the signal strength up to minus 5 , but even so there is no elbow room for interference from weather conditions , atmospheric conditions , hills and mountains , and even the sun can blast away the tv transmission at minus 15 NM. I also look at the tv stations/channels by typing as an example , wpsd tv , in the google search box. One of the web references of the google search , wikipedia says that , wpsd , is NBC and RTV. The point is to get as many of the Networks as possible on the main digital channel and sub digital channels of the stronger stations.
