Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my post. I will not use the preamp and will return it. I will install a new antenna and connect it directly to my main TV and see what kind of signal I receive. I will then try a 4-way passive splitter and see what effect that has. If I determine there is too much signal loss, I will purchase the distribution amp you suggested.
