The term "diplixer" was used in error. The actual term is
diplexer. A diplexer is a combiner that multiplexes signals in two different frequency bands into a single pipe such as a coaxial cable. A VHF-UHF combiner is a type of diplexer. Diplexers are also used to combine satellite TV signals from the dish antenna with terrestrial broadcast signals from a terrestrial TV antenna for insertion into the satellite provider's STB.
